I wrote a post a couple of months back about answering questions that kids/youth might ask about the Apostles Creed. I mentioned both the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed in the article, but did not include the text nor link to the full text of either one. Someone hit my blog searching for the Nicene [...]

On a personal note, my wife and I will be out of town for almost 2 weeks. I’m taking my laptop, but don’t know where and when I’ll be online. I may not be coming to the Table as often. There’s nearly 100 posts in the archives, check out my friends on the blogroll. I [...]

I have a blogroll on the right sidebar with links to some very good blogs. If you like this blog, you might enjoy reading some of those as well. They are the blogs I read. I do not have a list of links to other sites and resources, however, and think it’s time to start [...]

There are children starving in Africa. 3-year-olds are raped and then murdered. Millions of people in the world have cancer, HIV, and other diseases for which we have no cure. Gasoline is over $4 a gallon. I can’t believe in a God that would allow all these things to happen in the world.

We shouldn’t be surprised. Jesus himself told his followers that many would come in his name, claiming to be Christ. In my lifetime, I’ve witnessed the likes of Jim Jones and David Koresh lead hundreds of followers astray. This video is about a man in South Florida who calls himself “Jesus Christ Man,” and claims to [...]

It is important to remember what we have. There is an old saying that you don’t know what you have ’till it’s gone. I hope that’s not always true. I’ve known people that were getting ready to sell a car, and wanted it to look it’s best to fetch the best price they could get. [...]

From time to time I add a link to the blogroll (on the right sidebar). Last week I added a blog called Possessing the Treasure, written by a guy named Mike Ratliff. When I created the link I typed in Ratcliff, which is not his name and ergo not the correct address. The link is [...]
