Joe Biden and Paul Ryan debated on Thursday night, Obama and Romney will be back at on Tuesday.  My wife wishes the election would already be over, and we don’t even live in one of those battleground states.  The entire election may come down to Ohio, and the t.v. ads and mail box stuffing is at full tilt.  Sorry Ohio.

Felix Baumgartner finally jumped from the edge of space over the weekend.  Did he set a new speed record, breaking the sound barrier in the process?  No.

American Airlines says the recent seat incidents aboard its planes may be due to spilled snacks and drinks corroding the hardware.  Snacks and drinks have been served on passenger planes since the 1920’s, Delta has over 5,000 flights per day, and only American has this problem?

Happy Monday

It is definitely fall.  I wasn’t feeling it September 23, but can’t disagree now.

Rough weekend in sports.  My ATL Braves were eliminated from post-season play Friday night in the first ever wildcard playoff game.  By now I guess you either know about the infield fly call or don’t care.  Here’s an article I like from Sports Illustrated.  I also watched Saturday evening as the GA Bulldogs rolled over and played dead in Columbia, South Carolina.  Both teams were undefeated and closely ranked, I expected a really close ball game.

Biden vs. Palin, VP Debate

The debate is actually ongoing, so I’m not going to speculate who the winner is.  I’m sure the media is already prepared to announce Joe Biden won and tells us why, with the exception of Fox News.  I would like to point out the obvious to anyone carefully listening to each question and answer: neither candidate will answer the questions being asked.  Continue reading
