Ligonier Ministries West Coast Conference will take place in June in Seattle. R.C. Sproul, founder of Ligonier, will lead the event with John MacArthur headlining as well. They will address biblical authority, the resurrection of Jesus and the exclusivity of Christ. Evangelicals will be called upon to take a firm stand against an increasingly hostile culture. Sproul sites the “new atheists” as having more boldness than ever before because they know the culture is already on their side.
“Christians in our day and in our world and in our culture have to disabandon themselves of this idea that we are living in the cradle of a Christian culture,” he said. “We are not. We are living in a culture that is not simply indifferent to the Christian faith but it is actively hostile.”

The Truth Matters Bible Conference was held earlier this month at John MacArthur’s Grace Community Church. The focus of the conference was the Gospel According to Paul. Grace to You has all 11 sermons available as free downloads! Includes John MacArthur, Phil Johnson, Don Green and Col. Jeffrey N. Williams. I feel very Michael Spencer linking these resources.
Desiring God Ministries is the public outlet of all things John Piper. For a long time, they have been willing to work with people to get resources in the hands of those who might not be able to afford them otherwise. Lots of stuff is available at little or no cost if you’re willing to work with them. They are not just giving everything away, but if you have a need they will provide you with Piper books and other resources. They are found online at desiringgod.org. You may also want to check out the Desiring God Blog.
Recently everything John MacArthur has become available. At Grace To You (GTY.org) you can read, listen to, or buy a CD of his sermons – 2725 of them. MacArthur is available through radio, television and podcast, and Grace to You has it all on their website. This has gotten a lot of buzz on the blogosphere, so expect to hear sermons ripped off from MacArthur at a church near you soon!
